About Us

Welcome to Canal View Bed and Breakfast. We have 3 rooms available, a double, a twin and a generous single, all with en-suite shower rooms. There is a gravel drive at the front of the house providing ample off-road parking. Our accommodation is ideally located on the Lincoln Road which goes directly into Lincoln.

Saxilby is large picturesque village situated on the Foss Dyke, a canal built by the Romans. It is about 5 miles North West of the historic City of Lincoln and close to the Nottinghamshire border. Lincoln is within easy reach by car, train or bus or a gentle walk/cycle ride along the towpath. There are lots of places to eat and drink in and around Saxilby.

The Rooms

All of our rooms are furnished in a contemporary style and include:

Goose feather & down duvets.
Soft, fluffy, Egyptian cotton towels.

Dining room

Breakfast is served in our dining room and ranges from Full English (made with locally sourced produce) to bagels served with home made jam. A vegetarian option is also available.

Guest Lounge

We have a guest lounge for your use. This is comfortably furnished and is a "TV free" zone. A selection of games and books are also available.

Tariff

All prices are per room per night including breakfast.

We are able to take cash, cheques or credit or debit cards, please note that there is a 2% charge for using a credit card.

When you book we will ask for a deposit, this is refundable provided you give us at least 7 days notice if you need to cancel. We should recieve the deposit within 7 days of your initial booking to secure your room.
