Burngate Farm is a grade II listed farmhouse dating from the 16th century and is situated at the heart of the 12, 500 acres Lulworth Estate. We are approximately 1 mile from Lulworth Castle and 1 mile from the picturesque Lulworth Cove.

The area is ideal for visiting families, couples and small groups and caters for a wide range of interests. For walkers there are many footpaths and permissive footpaths that cover the Estate and the local coastal path, part of which forms the Jurassic Coast path, running from Exmouth in East Devon to Old Harry Rocks in the Isle of Purbeck.

For families there is Lulworth Castle, Lulworth Cove and many secluded cove's and beaches. We are also close to Monkey World, the Tank Museum and Farmer Palmers.

There are many historic buildings in the area such as Kingston Lacy, Kingston Maurward and Corfe Castle. For those seeking a more active break, there are many riding stables and areas of river and coast for fishing!

Lulworth Castle has a full range of events throughout the year ranging from outdoor concerts, half term fun for children, jousting in the summer holidays and many special weekend events.

Our accommodation consists of three double rooms, all of which have en-suite facilities. Our large bedroom has a king size bed and can also sleep up to two children in extra beds.

Our attic room can be used as a double bedded room or twin bedded room. We also have a smaller double room for guests. All rooms have colour televisions and facilities to make tea and coffee.

Fresh milk and bottled water are kept in a fridge on the landing.

We have a large sitting room for our guests use, with a DVD and video player a range of games and a wood burning stove.

Breakfast is served in our dining room around a communal table or in summer outside in our courtyard.

We offer a variety of breakfast from the full traditional breakfast to lighter bites.

All our ingredients are sourced locally and accompanied by fresh coffee or a selection of teas, home made bread and jams, fruit, yoghurt, cereal and fruit juice. Newspapers are provided at the weekends and on request during the week.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer an evening meal although there are a wide range of pubs and restaurants in the area to suit all tastes and pockets.

We can organise a taxi or offer to drop off and pick up service so that everyone can enjoy their evening out!

We are located on the junction of the B3071 and the road to the historic village of East Lulworth and Lulworth Castle.
