Buriton House is in the centre of the village of Newport, Essex with convenient access by rail or car to Cambridge, Stansted Airport and London.
Our accommodation is perfect for wedding guests visiting functions at nearby Audley End or Parklands, Quendon Hall.
Newport makes an excellent base from which to explore East Anglia. It is only five minutes drive from the attractive town of Saffron Walden where there is an abundance of medieval buildings, antique centres and an award winning museum.

All of our rooms have en suite bathrooms, a television and provisions to make tea and coffee, and of course breakfast is inclusive.
Our B&B is a charming Victorian house renovated to a high standard with period features in every room. We are a family home with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

How to find us
By Car
Travelling Northbound on M11
Exit at junction 8. Take the second exit onto Ongar Rd (A120). Go straight over roundabout At second roundabout turn right onto the Stansted Road (B1383). Remain on this road for roughly 15 minutes. Upon entering Newport turn right into Station Road. Buriton house is on your left after roughly 50 Metres.
Travelling Southbound on M11
Exit at junction 10. Take the first exit signposted A505. At roundabout take first exit onto A1301. At second roundabout take first exit onto B184 (Saffron Walden). At third roundabout take 3rd exit signposted 'Newport' onto the B1383. Remain on this road for about 10 minutes. Upon entering Newport, after roughly two minutes left into Station Road. Buriton house is on your left after roughly 50 Metres.
By Train
Trains for London leave Newport at 13 minutes past each hour
Trains to Cambridge leave Newport at 57 minutes past each hour.
