|Welcome to The Brunswick Hotel|
Location! Location! Location! One of the most important issues when choosing your Glasgow hotel. The Brunswick is within easy access to Glasgow airport (15/20mins by taxi), minutes walk to our two major railway stations (Glasgow Central and Queen Street), and a main bus station just up the road (Buchanan Street). Our local tourist information office is 5 minutes walk on our impressive George Square.
The Brunswick is located in Merchant City, a culturally rich area of Glasgow city centre surrounded by some of our best shopping streets, nightclubs, cafes, bars, restaurants, museums, galleries and historical attractions.
Apart from all this The Brunswick is great value for money with rooms starting from 50GBP, its style is simple, bold and very friendly. We may not have all the excessive frills of large corporate hotels but our friendly and professional yet laid back approach makes The Brunswick Hotel the right choice for city breaks or business trips to Glasgow, Scotland's most colourful city.
All accommodation is priced per room, not per person. All rooms are individually colour schemed so that no two are the same. They also have TV, direct dial telephone, wifi, tea and coffee facilities and very comfortable beds for a great nights sleep.
Check in time at the Brunswick is from 2pm and guests and must be checked out on their day of departure by 11.00 am.
The Brunswick Hotel's rooms have been styled with clean lines - simple yet modern and individual. Bold colours accentuate public areas and calmer colouring resides in each bedroom. You could be in Paris, Milan or Barcelona with our small European feel or even New York with our big personality!
Our king rooms are also suitable for disabled guests and we have a lift that will take you to all floors. Pets are welcome although prior notice is essential. We also have a stunning 3 bedroom apartment nestling under our copper curved roof.
Although not all rooms boast the quality of views seen from our 3 bedroom apartment, you are still on the doorstep of one of the most stunning cities in Europe. See our gallery for a selection of our images.
Our kitchen cafe and bar Brutti Ma Buoni is available to residents until 4am and there is someone at reception 24 hours a day to help you with anything you may need. Included in the room price is our self-service continental breakfast which includes various cereals, sliced ham, fruit juices, fresh fruit, yoghurts, cheeses and preserves.
To start your day at the Brunswick we shall prepare you a fine espresso, latte or a coffee of your taste, speciality teas, or hot chocolate to go with your toast and warm croissants. We use hand roasted Tuscany coffee, one of the finest in the world! Magazines and newspapers are always available and the music is gentle to wake up to.
|Eat & Drink|
Eat and drink at The Brunswick Hotel's cafe and bar 'brutti ma buoni' (ugly but good in Italian). At Brutti Ma Buoni our food is influenced by Mediterranean and local flavours. Our extensive menu is available all day every day from 11am to 10pm. We call it holiday style!
Cooked in our open plan kitchen, our food is simple, tasty and prepared in-house. We offer daily specials and a Sunday brunch menu. All of our food and drink is always great value for money.
To go with our great tasting food we have selected a wide range of bottled and draught lagers from around the continent including Peroni and Cruzcampo, served chilled. A selection of wines, cava and premium spirits are also available.
Food prices start from 3.50GBP with the exception of some specials which can be a little more expensive. Our house wines range from 17.25GBP per bottle with cava starting at 18.95GBP. Above all, we aim to offer great tasting food at great prices.
Weekdays at Brutti ma Buoni are a mix of people enjoying morning coffee and vibrant, fast paced lunches moving into early evening drinks and food. When the lights are dimmed and the candles lit, the evening takes its course with good music and great staff.
Weekends at Brutti ma Buoni are very friendly and lively with lots of hotel guests and locals creating an upbeat and vibrant atmosphere. Some weekends are host to guest DJs and tables can be booked in advance.
