| The Broadacre is situated in a quiet street parallel to the high street of New Romney Marsh in south east Kent. The Smith Family and staff provide a pleasant and friendly atmosphere with all rooms being en suite. Standing within its own walled grounds of about half an acre. The main entrance, six of the bedrooms believed to have been built in the 17th Century. The remaining bedrooms are all ground floor in a cottage annexe, which were built in the 1860's. |

| New Romney became a Cinque Port Town in the 11th Century when the river Rother silted up and altered course. The town flourished as a port for many years until 1287 when the Rother again changed its course and moved westward to flow into the sea at Rye. The Romney Marsh has been used as a location for several films in fact the Broadacre was shown in the film "Green Grow The Rushes" as was the Priory, St Nicholas Church and The Courtroom of The Townhall. |

| The Broadacre Restaurant The restaurant offers a good selection of home cooked dishes and traditional grills all served with seasonal vegetables. Vegetarian meals available. | From M25 to M20 to Junction 10 follow signs for Brenzett A2070. At Brenzett turn left at mini roundabout onto A259. Proceed to New Romney High Street, turn left into Rome Road, Broadacre is 100 meters. |
