|Bridge Houseis located in the picturesque county of Hawick on the English Scottish borders.The property dates back to 1760 at a time when Hawick was a resting point for travellers between Edinburgh and London and was originally a stable block for the old tower hotel (now a tourist information centre). At a later date the stable was converted into accommodations for the turn of the century textile industry for which Hawick was famous worldwide.|
Restructured again in the 1990`s it is now offering accommodation, a Bistro and beer garden, winning in 2009 an award from tourists visiting the town.
The Bistro with its panoramic windows over looking the river Teviot is open all day during the week and at night also at week-ends. It is the place to enjoy whilst having breakfast.
