Braemar Cottage is a lovely detached villa in Fort William, Highlands of Scotland, with views of Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain and its accompanying glen, Glen Nevis. This is also perhaps the best place to stay in the Scottish West Highlands if you have a passion for trains, especially the famous Jacobite Steam Train, which trundles past the house on a daily basis in the summer.

Breakfast is served between 8am and 9am (although earlier times can be arranged). The portions are large and absolutely delicious with the full choice you would expect from a hearty Scottish menu, including sausages, bacon, mushrooms, tomato, potato scone and eggs. Vegetarians are also catered for.

A nourishing packed lunch can be made up of various options which are available.
