| The Beresford Hotel is situated in the heart of the West End of Edinburgh. Built in 1872, it forms part of the last phase of the New Town Development and was a private house until the early 1900's, when it became the first house hotel in the area. It is ideally situated within easy strolling distance of Princes Street, Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile/Old Town, and the multitude of city centre tourist and shopping attractions. | ![]() |
| Accommodation Recently totally refurbished, we have - whilst upgrading the facilities to modern standards - retained the inherent charm of a Victorian town house. Our rooms are fully en-suite (shower, w.c. and hand wash basin). For your comfort, they have satellite tv, direct-dial telephones, hairdryers, complimentary tea/coffee facilities. Some of the family rooms have fridges, and for our younger guests, a cot is also available. A full breakfast is served on week-days between 8.00 and 9.00 - weekends between 8.30 and 9.30.
