| Bark Cottage is to be found on a quiet road from Hereford to Ross (B4224) in the heart of the beautiful Wye Valley, yet only five miles from the M50 motorway, seven miles from the City of Hereford and seven miles from the fine old market town of Ross-on-Wye. The River Wye runs approximately half a mile away. The countryside is excellent for walking and Fownhope is an ideal centre from which to visit the many historic towns and villages in the area, and for seeing the natural beauty of such places as the Welsh Border Country and Black Mountains, the Royal Forest of Dean and the Malvern Hills. Ideal centre for businessmen visiting Gloucester, Worcester and Hereford. |

You may like to have a leisurely swim in our large pool in which many features are incorporated, like a swimming lane which is slightly deeper, or sit and relax in the sitting area. Also situated in the pool hall is a large spa where jets of water and air will gently stimulate your body and relax you. |
