| The Balmoral Hotel is a family run Hotel offering quality accommodation with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We are an ideal location for both business or pleasure purposes. The Hotel is situated a mile or so from the scenic City Centre of Nottingham. It has its own private car park. Nottingham is an interesting city with some fine restaurants and bars and vibrant night life. For the tourist there are museums, art galleries, theatres, shops and not forgetting of course Nottingham's Robin Hood heritage. If you're a cricket fan, the world famous Trent Bridge Cricket Ground is just around the corner, and for the water sport enthusiasts, the Water Sports Centre at Holme Pierrepoint is but a few minutes by car or a pleasant twenty minutes stroll along the River Trent. From the hotel you can easily walk to both Notts County and Nottingham Forest football Stadiums. The National Ice Centre is also close by. |
| The Balmoral has 31 comfortable en suite bedrooms. Each room is well furnished and centrally heated with colour television, direct dial telephone, and tea/ coffee refreshment tray. Breakfast is served in our attractive dining room with a choice of a breakfast from a hearty full English breakfast to start the day or a more lighter bite if preferred. |
| On the ground floor is our convivial licensed bar and lounge with pool table. The hotel bar offers a fine selection of wines and beers. Unwind after a busy day with your favourite tipple, or join your friendly host Phil Jowett, who is often presiding at the bar, offering introductions, local information or just a friendly chat. If you're an avid chess player then Phil will be pleased to bring out the chess board and offer you a game. |
| Guests can enjoy a meal in our elegant dining room. The dining room has comfortable seating and the cuisine is varied. The menu is traditionally English but has an international hint. Choose from freshly cooked fish dishes to steaks, chicken and good vegetarian options. Not to be missed is the tempting dessert menu.
