We are also 15 minutes from Longleat. This imposing property is beautifully appointed and the interior has been sympathetically restored with character features throughout. The central village location enables our guests to enjoy the local pubs and stunning countryside as well as the pretty village of Norton St Philip. Bed and Breakfast Rooms and Facilities Our B&B accommodation consists of three beautifully presented double rooms. All rooms are spaciously laid out with full en-suite facilities and a range of features for your comfort and convenience, including: Hospitality tray in every room containing tea/coffee and biscuits Flat screen TV's with FreeView and DVD player. | Self Catering Monks Retreat Self Catering (2-6 people) Our apartment is entirely self-contained and is positioned on the top floor of this historic manor house. The private side gateway guides you through a courtyard garden to an elm studded medieval door. The staircase leads you on to the recently refurbished apartment in the vast attic space, lovely old oak beams and beautiful views of the rolling countryside. The apartment sleeps 2-6 plus cot. There is a flagstone entrance hall with two flights of stairs leading to hallway, sitting room, dining room with fireplace, fully fitted kitchen, master bedroom with 5' double bed and shower en suite, twin bedroom with two 3' beds, bathroom with bath and separate power shower. Oak beams throughout, pretty dormer windows to rear, gas central heating, gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dryer, CD player/stereo, DVD player, private parking, courtyard garden with barbeque, cot and high chair available on request. West Wing Self Catering (8-10 people) Why not take over half the Manor? We can provide self-catering accommodation in our West Wing for 8-10 people in four bedrooms plus a sofa bed. You enter the house through the main front door and into the enormous sitting room with a dining table for 10. The beautiful circular oak staircase leads you on up to two en-suite bedrooms on the first floor. A second staircase takes you to the top floor where you'll find the second living room (with sofa bed), dining room (seats 8), a fully fitted kitchen, the remaining two bedrooms, one ensuite and a bathroom. If you are organising an event and want luxury in the heart of the countryside, yet within easy reach of Bath, the Manor is the place for you. About Norton St Philip Norton St Philip is a very pretty ancient village and a wonderful place to relax after a busy day. Bath is a 15 minute drive (not in the rush hour!). The village has two pubs - The George Inn, claimed to be the oldest in England and the Fleur de Lys. Both serve delicious home cooked food. There are two local shop farm shops. A variety of countryside walks from your doorstep. Easy access to Bath with its' tourist attractions, restaurants, Theatre Royal and shops. Children's play park is 1 minute away. Horse riding facilities are only 2 miles away. The Bath area has a large selection of golf courses. |    |
