About Us
The Ardenlee is a beautiful grade B listed Victorian town house situated in the famous New Town of Edinburgh. Built in 1871 The Ardenlee was commissioned by Sir George Warrender (Baronet), and still retains many of it's original features. We are a 3 star Scottish Tourist Board rated guest house offering a high quality of accommodation in a friendly and informal atmosphere.
Bedrooms
* We have 9 bedrooms in total, 7 of which are en-suite. The remaining 2 rooms have their own wash hand basins and share a large bathroom with a bath and power shower. * We can cater for a range of accommodation requests with large family, standard family, double, twin and single rooms. * Our rooms are spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. * All our rooms have TV, tea / coffee facilities, central heating and hairdryers. Ironing facilities are available on request.
Breakfast
A full cooked breakfast is served in our large dining room on the ground floor. Choose from smoked bacon, sausage, scrambled, fried or poached eggs, mushrooms, baked beans, tomato, fried bread, or have the vegetarian option. A range of cereals, fresh fruit and fruit juices are also available.
Location
Situated in the very centre of Edinburgh in the historic New Town the Ardenlee is within easy walking distance of most of Edinburgh's main attractions. We are only ½ mile from Princes Street. And the main train station (Waverley Station) and St Andrew's bus station are less than a 15 minute walk away.
Rates
Our prices vary depending on time of year and day's of the week, and are on a per person per night basis including breakfast and taxes. An indication of our rates are outlined below: Nov - March : £25 - £35 (excluding Christmas, New Year & rugby international's) April / May / June / Oct : £27.50 - £37.50 July - September : £28.50 - £45 (including Christmas, New Year & rugby international's)
