Established family run guest house within walking distance of Peterhead. Ideally located to enjoy the coastal delights of the North East of Scotland. Enjoy the seascapes of the Bullers of Buchan, the wealth of wildlife on the loch of Strathbeg and the delights of wild dolphins on the Moray Firth.
We are ideally placed for various activities in the area. There are several top class golf courses close at hand set in stunning scenery. Sea fishing and river fishing are both available and we can advise on where to get permits. There are several good walks and cycle routes which are very popular and of course there are plenty of coastal and seaside villages to explore.
There's a small beach at the marina and another which stretches for miles just over the bridge beside the Peterhead golf course. A few minutes in the other direction and you reach Cruden Bay where the beaches start again round the coast towards Aberdeen. Before you reach Cruden Bay you pass the rugged coastline and cliffs known as the Bullers of Buchan. Between these lies the famous ruins of Slains Castle. Most towns and villages have gala weeks holding various events including highland games, pipe band and highland dancing competitions. The castle trail and of course the whisky trail are other popular options available and all in easy reach from us. |
Rooms
Invernettie Guest House offers seven comfortable, well decorated bedrooms. Five single rooms - (one of which is especially suitable for disabled guests), one twin room and one family room (sleeps 3) Cot available if required. Bedrooms all have easy access on the ground floor. All the bedrooms have colour television and tea and coffee making facilities.
