| The main house on the farm is roughly 400 years old and is a grade two listed building. It used to be an off licence for the passing trade along the byway called Boxley Lane. The Perry family has been here since 1962. The bed and breakfast building used to be a stable block for the horses that worked on the land when it became a farm. It then became a children's playroom for the present Perry family, now the building has been transformed into the bed and breakfast it is today. The farm is mainly arable and our main crops are wheat and sugar beet. We also run a small livery yard. The bed and breakfast has a kitchenette, a twin bedded room with en suite bathroom, this includes a large shower, toilet and sink. The bed and breakfast is self-contained private unit and has its own patio area. Although it is a twin bedded room it can be adjusted to fit three people if necessary. We are 4 ½ miles from Stansted airport and about 5 miles from junction 8 on the M11. |
