| Welcome to Aitches guest house
A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at our elegant Victorian house situated on a quiet cobbled street at the top of the famous hillside Bronte village of Haworth. Built in about 1840 and extended in 1891 Aitches retains many of its Victorian features and has many period furnishings.
We overlook the Bronte Parsonage, home to the Bronte family and are less than 2 minutes stroll from the centre of the village with its' charming shops , pubs and eateries.
Some splendid moorland walks commence right from our doorstep and Haworth station, home to the Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway, is just 10 minutes walk away. |
Staying at Aitches Guest House
We have four double rooms and one twin room. All are en suite and centrally heated with individual controls. Two of our rooms can be combined to accommodate a family. Each room is individually and tastefully furnished and all are equipped with remote controlled colour TV, clock radio, hair dryer and tea/ coffee maker.
One room has a separate second entrance from the outside making it particularly suitable for guests with dogs. Our superior double room is perfect for that special occasion and is suitable for a private supper or a full breakfast to be served in the room if our guests so wish.

Restaurant
We serve evening meals for a minimum of four persons provided they are pre-ordered that morning. All our dishes are freshly prepared from local ingredients and are primarily English in style. Our aim is to provide interesting and wholesome meals at a reasonable price.
For those preferring to eat out the village offers a wide choice of eateries to suit most tastes and pockets and all are in strolling distance.
Immediately next door is Weavers Restaurant, appearing in the 2006 Good Food Guide and especially suitable for special occasions. One minute walk away we have three pubs all offering traditional food whilst a little further along Main Street are two more pubs, another restaurant and a particularly interesting bistro offering a fusion of Pacific and European cuisine. |
