| The Sitting Room... Guests have the use of the recently refurbished sitting room that boasts a wide range of reading material including tourist information on the surrounding area. There is also a piano, which guests can use if they wish. |
| The Dining Room... Perhaps one of the main reasons for the number of visitors returning to Academy House is the food. Served in the dining room, breakfast is from 8.00am to 8.30am on weekdays and until 9:30am at weekends and dinner from 7.00pm onwards. Breakfasts cover all requirements from full cooked Scottish Breakfast to a plentiful array for the guests who prefer a continental style breakfast. Dinner is a treat and can develop into an enjoyable dinner party with good company and conversation. Wine can be brought in. All meals are cooked mostly using fresh local produce, in the main. All diets catered for. |
