Hilary's Cottage
A detached Victorian cottage available for holiday makers situated in the historic village of Swaffham Prior, close to Cambridge, Newmarket, Ely and The Fens. The village is famous locally for having two churches in the same churchyard, due to Swaffham Prior originally having two separate manors. Hilary's Cottage maintains much of its old Victorian charm with many original features, with all the benefits of modern facilities. The cottage sleeps up to six; two double bedrooms, one upstairs and one on the ground floor, and one twin bedroom upstairs. There are two bathrooms; one en-suite, and one separate bathroom on the ground floor. The ground floor rooms are ideal for those who do not wish to climb stairs. The cottage has oil fired central heating throughout and one off road parking space, with additional parking outside the cottage. There is also a charmingly small and secluded garden at the back of the cottage with patio area and table and chairs for guests use. The village is served by service bus No. 10 to Cambridge which runs regularly every half an hour. Swaffham Prior also has an attractive and friendly pub called the Red Lion just a short walk down the village, turning left at the High Street. Prices from £275 - £525 per week. Short breaks from £75 per night. All linen, towels, heating and electricity is included in the rent. The cottage is available for short breaks or longer lets. Medow House The Meadow House is a magnificent modern house, set in 2 acres of wooded grounds. We offer superior Bed and Breakfast accommodation in spacious rooms, some of which have king size double beds. Park your car on arrival, in our large car park which is located at the side of the house. The entrance to the house is at the rear of the property via the first patio door. The variety of accommodation endeavours to cater for all requirements, e.g. A suite of rooms, that can accommodate up to six people. It comes complete with a covered south facing balcony and an en-suite bathroom - ideal for a family. A triple room, which is located on the ground floor, is ideally suited to those who would rather not climb the stairs. It has three single beds and its own en-suite bathroom. The 'Coach House' is a spacious annex to the main house. It has one double and one single bed to accommodate up to three people. It also has an en-suite bathroom. Other non en-suite rooms consist of a double and twin room, both with private hand basins, and one other twin room, all of which share a well equipped bathroom. ALL of the rooms have televisions, central heating and tea and coffee making facilities. The Meadow House is non-smoking in all rooms; we do however provide ashtrays for guests requiring to smoke on the patio outside the entrance, as well as on the balcony that accompanies the suite of rooms.
