The English market town of Horsham is located within the county of West Sussex and it is located on the banks of the River Arun within the district of Horsham. The town of Horsham has a population of about fifty thousand. The town of Horsham is located about thirty one miles south west of London, eighteen miles north west of the town of Brighton and also about twenty six miles northeast of Chichester. Towns such as Haywards Heath, Crawley and also Burgess Hill surround the town of Horsham. The town of Horsham is the administrative centre and also the market centre within the district of Horsham.

The town of Horsham is about fifty meters above sea level and it is located on the western edge of the High Weald within the Surrey Hills, which are part of the North Downs. The River Arun flows through the area that is known as St Leonard's Forest and this area is located to the east of the town of Horsham and then the river flows through the southern part of the town before making its way through Broadbridge Heath.

The town of Horsham has developed and grown around the Carfax and this is the meeting place for the five main roads.
