Hope Valley is situated in a rural part of Derbyshire. Hope Valley is located within the Peak District north of the Midlands.Despite Hope Valley appearing to be a single valley the name of the river that flows through it actually changes name several times. The head of the valley is located below Mam Tor at Castleton and then from here the Peakshole Water flows to the village of Hope.
