Hook is located in Hart in northern Hampshire. The town can be found approximately 10 kilometers east of Basingstoke. It is also situated on the A30, making it easy for visitors to reach. During the time between 2004 and 2006 the village expanded eastwards and this was in the form of a residential establishment known as Holt Park.

There is a strong educational network within the village and this is in the form of two primary schools a high school and also two colleges.
