Hawes, located in North Yorkshire, is a traditional market town. Visitors will find the town located near the Yorkshire Dales, making it popular for individuals who wish to explore the local area, including the Yorkshire Dales National Park. There are a variety of other tourist attractions that can be enjoyed in the local area, including the Dales Countryside Museum which is housed in the Hawes railway station. The local Hardraw Force waterfall is another popular attraction as well. In addition, visitors may wish to see Aysgarth Falls and the range of pubs and shops that are situated in town.

The English town of Hawes is not only an excellent hiking heaven but it offers many other mountain adventures that attract ambitious tourists throughout the year.

The authenticity of the town as a true walking experience can be admitted by keeping the fact in mind that United Kingdom's first National trail passes through it. The town has many natural wonders including splendid waterfalls and jubilant mountain views.

Hardraw Force can be your first stop of the town. It is a rightly celebrated waterfall as every year many tourists come to the town to see the spectacular views of this natural beauty. The waterfall has an amazing distinction in the English landscape. It is the most prestigious unbroken waterfall in England as its height reaches to 100 feet. People from all the English towns get attracted to this town to see this true majestically waterfall. The location and setting is so out of this world that many movies are filmed here.

The other natural landmark that is a treat to visit is the Buttertubs Pass. One can witness the marvelous deep limestone structures that are found in the neighboring areas. The fabulous intrinsic beauty of these limestones is appreciated by the visitors and the place provides an excellent site for the photographer. The name of the pass is known to come from the very function it used to provide to the farmers who used to work here. They used to store their butter in the cavities of these limestones in the summer.

We hope you enjoy your stay in one of our cheap Hawes hotels, mid range or luxury Hawes hotels.
