The small English market town of Halesworth is located within the county of Suffolk. The town of Halesworth has a population of about six thousand. The town is located within the eastern corner of Suffolk. The town of Halesworth is located about fifteen miles to the south west of Lowestoft and about nine miles north of Southwold. The town of Halesworth was originally a Roman Settlement and it has a medieval church, which is known as St Mary's. There are some parts of the church that is from the Victorian times.

The town centre is a pedestrianised area and it is home to most of the shops. Every year the centre of the town is home to a fair that features various different foods, drinks and crafts. This fair is held to raise money for good causes.

There is a new arts centre within the town and this centre offers various different arts including cinema, comedy, dance, theatre, music and also art exhibitions and workshops. The arts centre also hosts a cafe and licensed bar and it relies very much on the support of the local community.

The town of Halesworth is also home to the annual event, which is known as the Gig in the Park. This event is a good way for national and local talent to show off their skills.
