Sausmarez Manor the only Historic House in the Channel Islands that is still lived in by the original family that you can visit on certain days. It is surrounded by a delightful Grounds which has a Subtropical Garden liberally sprinkled with around 200 contemporary sculptures from around the World and an intriguing Poetry Path. In the courtyard is a Fairtrade and Local Craft shop, A bespoke Jeweller, the last coppersmith making Guernsey Milk Cans, and a Tearoom where home made cakes and light meals. As if this wasn't enough there is a ride on train in the woods, a Short Course for Golfers and live Terrapins in the little lakes. |
