The small fishing town of Brixham lies in the south-west of England. The town's economy thrives on the tourism and the fishing.

Traditional castles are built in the towns but this castle is an exception. It is been built at a remote site which was not easily accessible in ancient times. It is protected with high walls and one can appreciate the efforts of the builders who have increased the solidity of walls many times than others.

The town also holds the distinction of hosting the largest gallery of painting in the area, the Strand Art Gallery. Tourists can even meet the founder of gallery who himself is an exceptional painter. The gallery keeps diverse genres of paintings so that it can tackle the large native population and the tourists. Throughout the year many exhibits are hosted in the gallery.
