The English town of Brighouse is the second largest town within the metropolitan district that is known as Calerdale. The charity gala consists of a procession, which start at about quarter past one and it usually leaves from the Crosslee works, which are located within the area of Hipperholme. The procession represented local businesses and groups on the various colourful designed floats. The floats in the procession follow a circular route, which takes in the suburban area as well as the town centre. The floats are accompanied with a range of musical bands and walking groups.
