The English town of Brentwood is located within the county of Essex. The town is within the commuter belt for London. The town of Brentwood is located about twenty miles to the north east of Charing Cross and the town is also very close to the M25 motorway.

The town of Brentwood is relatively small however it does have an expanding area for shopping. The town is a sprawling development, which is surrounded entirely by woodland and countryside. Some of the countryside is actually within a couple of hundred yards from the centre of the town. The town is probably best known for its school and for some of the businesses, which are located within the town. The town of Brentwood is part of the larger borough that is known as Brentwood.

There are a lot of famous businesses, which are located within the town of Brentwood that includes the Ford Motor Company who have their headquarters within the nearby area of Warley. The town is also the home for the headquarters for Amstrad.

During the 1990's the town of Brentwood was given unfair attention when it was named the most boring town within Britain. David McClusky who was the former manager at Brentwood Theatre first caused the unfair title. He later claimed that what he had meant was that it was hard to choose from the vast number of interesting events within the history of the town. The town of Brentwood was the firs town to install coloured CCTV back in 1994.
