
The English town of Bewdley is situated in the county of Worcestershire. Bewdley is a civil parish in the district of the Wyre Forest. The town is located along the Severn Valley a couple of miles to the west of Kidderminster. The town of Bewdley is located on the banks of the River Severn.
Most of the town of Bewdley is located on the western bank of the river and this includes the main street in the town known as Load Street, Load Street is best known for its width as it was also once used as the market place for the town. The town of Bewdley has a population of nine thousand one hundred and seventy eight. A lot of the shops in Bewdley are situated on Load Street and at the top of the street is St Anne's Church. The construction of this church was started in 1745 and it was completed in 1748. Thomas Woodward from Chipping Campden constructed it.
There is a strong educational network within the town of Bewdley and this is made up of three primary schools and one secondary school. The primary schools are St Anne's and Bewdley. The secondary education is delivered in the form of a school and sixth form college. All of the primary schools in the town are well regarded and have very good reputations.
