The English town of Barnet is located within the city of London. The town of Barnet is a suburban area that was developed during the twelfth century and it is located about ten miles north west of the London area that is known as Charing Cross.
The town of Barnet as a general hospital. This hospital is run by the hospital trust of Barnet and Chase Farm and it forms part of the national health service of the United Kingdom. There is also a health clinic located on Vale Drive close to the area of Barnet Hill and the tube station.
There is a strong educational network within the town of Barnet and this consists of eight primary schools, five secondary schools and also one further educational college. The primary schools within the area are known as Barnet Hill, Cromer Road, Christ Church, Foulds and Whitings Hill to name a few. Two of the primary schools are Roman Catholic schools and these are known as St. Catherines and St Marthas Junior. The secondary schools within the town are known as Queen Elizabeths that actually has two separate schools as there is one for boys and the other one is for girls.
