The English town of Barnet is located within the city of London. The town of Barnet is a suburban area that was developed during the twelfth century and it is located about ten miles north west of the London area that is known as Charing Cross.

There is a strong educational network within the town of Barnet and this consists of eight primary schools, five secondary schools and also one further educational college. The primary schools within the area are known as Barnet Hill, Cromer Road, Christ Church, Foulds and Whitings Hill to name a few. Two of the primary schools are Roman Catholic schools and these are known as St. Catherines and St Marthas Junior.
