Centrally situated for Sherwood Forest and access to The Peak District, Old School Mews was formerly the Victorian school house in Lowdham. The house has been cleverly transformed to provide cosy and comfortable accommodations. The three guest bedrooms are comfortable and have a great charm with sloping ceilings and exposed beams: all have television, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast, either a cooked traditional English or Continental, is included and is served in the large farmhouse kitchen or, in warm weather, on the garden patio. There is a wide choice of pubs and restaurants in the area. An excellent bus service. Lowdham is just 6 miles from Nottingham and 5 miles from Newark.
