"For a stay in Kirkby Stephen this is the ONLY Guesthouse to book into. As previosly mentioned by other reviewers and talking to other walkers later my thoughts are not alone. It is situated in a perfect place for night time ammeneties. You would do well to find a friendlier Landlady on the Coast to Coast route or a better breakfast. Chrys has local walking knowledge and the books in the LOunge to match. You will be welcolmed with a friendly smile and a room that you will not find better.
