The Yew Tree Bed And Breakfast, Stroud - Comments from guests
"I have been made to feel very comfortable, and feel part of the family. Graham and Liz and good ambassadors for this undiscvered area. The house, although old, has been tastefully restored by Liz,Graham and all their children. I only met two as the others have "flown the nest". These two daughters are a credit to their parents. If I ever have to come this way again, I shall definitely make for The Yew Tree B&B!"
Richard Walters, Hythe, Kent, United Kingdom
"We are very impressed with this old Cotswold stone house. Graham and Liz have obviously worked hard to make this so comfortable. This is central for most of the Cotwsold towns, and there are some lovely walks around here. Our room is adequate, and very comfortable. We need for nothing; and we'll be back."
Ralph & Rita Williams, St Ives, Cornwall, United Kingdom
"We were recommended to come here by another B&B. We have been very well served by Liz and Graham. They are lovely people., Our room is small but very comfortable. The breakfast was large and very good."
Katia Obsk, Leipzig, Germany
"A charming house, full of history. The owners are very hospitable and the breakfast is scrumpious."
Mr and G Mrs Street, Sutton Coldfield, United Kingdom
"Very comfortable accommodation. There is a good choice for breakfast - and we had everything going! It was well cooked and we prided ourselves on leaving clean plates."
Clifford & Janet Butler, Pontypridd, Mid Glam, United Kingdom
"I found this room from Smoothhound. It is very nice and I will recommend it to my friends and colleagues. It is very central for Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bath and Cirencester. If I have to work in this area again, I shall be back."
Michelle Lawson, Shrewsbury, United Kingdom
"We have spent a lovely week here. Graham, Liz and the girls have really looked after us. We have spent a delightful week exploring the area. The comfort of our stay, the large well cooked breakfasts and the hospitality have been excellent. Somewhere we could recommend."
William & June Kirk, Peterborough, Cambs, United Kingdom
"As we booked this over the internet from across the world; we were not sure what the bed and breakfast would be like. We were over the moon both with the accommodation and the large breakfast. We are travelling on to Stratford from here and if we are ever this way again, we shall certainly make a booking again. We shall be recommending this place to our friends back home."
Valda and Roger Davey, Aberfoyle Park, Australia
"This place certainly brought me luck with the geegees! It's not too far from Cheltenham, and the couple made me very welcome. I shall be back."
Patrick McNamara, Cork City, Ireland
"Very close to the Brimscombe Basin, part of the regeneration of the Cotswold Canals. Brimscombe Port was bought by British Waterways in June 2002 as part of the project which will commence in 2005. The Yew Tree B&B is well placed and deserves this recommendation."
Andrew Stumpf, Chesham, Bucks, United Kingdom
