| "I have been coming to the Green for over 20 years and it gets even better every year which is more than I can say for my golf (fortunately the people I play with are all getting worse!). The food is now outstanding and they have not changed the size of their helpings (large) or the quality of their chocolate cake. The service is excellent - they once ran out of my favourite tipple and the owner went out and bought some more himself - what more could you ask?!"

| "Just had a lovely weekend in the hotel. Staff/food/rooms all excellent. I had my dog with me and he was made very welcome. This is one hotel Scotland can be proud of. Glad I had my Kilt on after eating in the Douglas restaurant had to open the buckles a little. Thanks to all for making it an enjoyable weekend."

| "Have been visiting regularly but not in 2003 as we have had an addition to our family. This must be one of the best quality and value for money family friendly hotels I have been to. Nothing has ever been a problem to the staff, they accepted younger children into the dining room and made them feel welcome unlike other so called brand named hotels where your children are expected to eat early and not with the family.Took the whole extended family last year and none were disappointed. Look forward to our next visit. Have also recommended this hotel to friends with and without children. NONE have been disappointed!"
